The new Bridgton Hospital became a reality through the generous
philanthropic support of our community members, camps, businesses
and foundations. From 2000-2002, the capital campaign entitled
'A New Hospital for Our Community' raised more than $6M in
charitable support, far surpassing its original goal of $4.5M.
Bridgton Hospital has other capital project needs on the horizon,
with a goal of turning our campus into a true 'healthcare
campus' for the community. In fact, the old hospital building
has already been partly renovated into physician office space,
and our busy Internal Medicine practice moved into the attractive
space in December 2003. A Wellness Center and Cardiac Rehabilitation
Center are both part of the 'vision' Bridgton Hospital has
for future capital projects on the campus.
