Bridgton Hospital Annual Fund is the single most important,
year-round, fundraising project for the hospital. The Annual
Fund serves as the 'bread and butter' for our hospital, and
unrestricted gifts are the most important. Those gifts are
used to recruit new members of our medical staff and professional
staff, purchase state of the art medical equipment needs for
our patients, maintain our new building and grounds, and numerous
other important projects. Your support, at any level, is deeply
appreciated.

Capital Projects
 The
new Bridgton Hospital, opened in 2002, is a direct result
of the philanthropic generosity of numerous individuals,
families, businesses and foundations. "A New Hospital
for Our Community' raised more than $6M for the important
project, far surpassing its original goal of $4M.
Meditation Garden
When the new Bridgton Hospital was planned and being built,
the spacious lobby was a pivotal feature with its full glass
wall, soaring ceiling and classic colors. Patients and visitors
in the lobby gaze upon a soothing visual Meditation Garden,
and the garden has a number opportunities to honor or remember

'A Gift from the Heart' Honor and Memorial Program
The Gift from the Heart Honor and Memorial Program at Bridgton
Hospital provides a meaningful way to support your local
community hospital and remember or honor a special person
in your life. A new baby? Make your gift to the Special
Delivery Family Birth Unit! Grateful for your doctor or
nurse? Honor him or her with your gift. Remember a loved
one? We'll announce your gift to his or her family. The
reasons are limited only by your wishes. Our special 'Gift
from the Heart' announcement card is sent to the person,
or the family of a memorial donation.
