The Bridgton Hospital Inpatient Unit is unique among small,
rural hospitals. We feature all private patient rooms, with
private bathrooms, all tastefully decorated to maximize privacy
and carefully designed to provide a calm and healing atmosphere.
All rooms have large picture windows situated so a patient
can view the outdoors, and built in window seats serve as
a place for a family member to comfortably stay with you.
The twenty-one rooms are designated for medical/ surgical
patients, intensive care patients, and maternity patients.
We often hear from our patients that our rooms compare with
staying at a national hotel chain! The Special Delivery Family
Birthing Unit features two specially designed birthing rooms,
complete with Jacuzzi tubs. The Inpatient Unit also features
a nursery, physical therapy area, and family waiting room.
The Bridgton Hospital Inpatient Unit provides the highest
level of 24-hour care for hospitalized patients.
Our dedicated team of highly qualified healthcare professionals

recognize that it is difficult to be away from home. Our goal
